The Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference is a consortium of small private schools that plays girls soccer in the spring and boys in the fall.  Membership varies from year to year as organizations/schools struggle to field teams at both the high school and middle school level.

The NVIAC plays under NHSF rules, with no overtime during the regular season.  Tournament varsity games are 35-minute halves.
